Certification of Services
The service certification department certifies the following types of services:
- Certification of temporary accommodation services (accommodation, hotels)
- Certification of catering services
- Certification of hairdressing services
The procedure of certification of services (hotels, recreation centers, restaurants, etc.) involves assessing the compliance of the declared quality indicators of services provided, as well as confirmation of the category in the form of "stars" and the level of service of a hotel, restaurant or hairdresser. Having a quality certificate for services can be one of the main selection criteria for remote users.
Certification of temporary accommodation services (accommodation)
Certification of temporary accommodation services is initiated by the applicant in order to establish compliance of these services with the requirements of regulations and applicable law, as well as to confirm by an independent third party that they are of the appropriate quality and safe for life, health and property.
The object of certification are temporary accommodation services, provided by tourism business units, in collective and individual accommodation facilities.
Certification of temporary accommodation services (dwelling) to confirm the category (stars) is regulated by normative documents, which are the basis for providing the service:
- DSTU 4268: 2003 Accommodation facilities. General requirements
- DSTU 4269: 2003 Classification of hotels
The rules for the use of hotels and similar accommodation facilities and provision of hotel services, approved by the order of the State Tourist Administration of Ukraine on March 16, 2004 No19 and registered at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on April 2, 2004 under No 413/9012
The procedure for establishing categories of hotels and other facilities intended for the provision of temporary accommodation (dwelling), approved Resolution No 803 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on July 29, 2009.
The procedure for certification of services in the general case includes: submission of an application for certification and / or evaluation of the accommodation facility; consideration and decision-making on the application; inspection of the enterprise for the provision of services; conducting certification inspections; analysis of the obtained results of certification works and decision-making on issuance (refusal to issue) of the certificate of conformity and conclusion of the license agreement; execution, registration and issuance of a certificate of conformity and a license agreement; technical supervision of certified services.
The procedure for certification of services in the general case includes:
- 1. submission of an application for certification and / or evaluation of the accommodation facility;
- 2. consideration and decision-making on the application;
- 3. inspection of the enterprise for the provision of services;
- 4. conducting certification inspections;
- 5. analysis of the obtained results of certification works and decision-making on issuance (refusal to issue) of the certificate of conformity and conclusion of the license agreement;
- 6. execution, registration and issuance of a certificate of conformity and a license agreement;
- 7. technical supervision of certified services.
Certification of catering services
Certification of catering services is carried out in accordance with DSTU 4281: 2004 "Restaurants. Classification".
The procedure for certification of services in the general case includes:
- 1. submission of an application for certification;
- 2. consideration and decision-making on the application;
- 3. inspection of the enterprise for the provision of services;
- 4. selection, identification and organoleptic quality control of samples of culinary products (selective verification of the result of the service);
- 5. making a decision on the issuance (refusal to issue) a certificate of conformity and drawing up a license agreement;
- 6. execution, registration and issuance of a certificate of conformity and a license agreement;
- 7. technical supervision over the provision of certified services.
Certification of hairdressing services
Certification of hairdressing services is carried out in accordance with the following:
DSTU 4094-2002 Services of hairdressing salons. General requirements
The procedure for certification of services in the general case includes:
- 1. submission of an application for certification;
- 2. consideration and decision-making on the application;
- 3. inspection of the enterprise for the provision of services;
- 4. conducting certification inspections;
- 5. making a decision on the issuance of (refusal to issue) a certificate of conformity and drawing up a license agreement;
- 6. execution, registration and issuance of a certificate of conformity and a license agreement;
- 7. technical supervision over the provision of certified services.
